We worked on a few projects this past week, including a simple cover for the hot tub to keep the leaves out when it's not in use.
Building the frame, which slots over the edges of the of tub and comes apart easily and quickly for storage.
The cedar plank cover is held together with cleats that fit over and between the frame members, positioning each of the cover's three panels precisely.
The finished cover. The three panels are light and sized for storage in the nearby cabana when the tub is in use. The cover extends over the seat of the tub and is angled to shed water when covered with a tarp for the winter.
